At ATAS’ “Metal Roofing: History, Material, and Application” course, you will learn about the history of metal roofing, the different types of metal used, the manufacturing process, and the importance of finish coatings.  Low slope and steep slope systems will be discussed, and you’ll hear about the environmental benefits of metal roofing. You will have an opportunity to tour the manufacturing facility and learn about the machines as well as see them in action, be able to ask questions to the machine operators and learn more about “how things are made”.
